“I’d love to, but I just don’t have the time.”
I hear this sentence all the time: in first calls, among friends, in DMs. And honestly? I completely understand it.
Work drains your energy, appointments pile up, and in the evening all you want is the sofa. Training? Often feels like one more item on the to-do list.
But this is exactly where we need to be honest: it’s not about time. It’s about priorities.
What you should be clear about: your training doesn’t have to be perfect, but it does have to be realistic.
Many people still think fitness means: 1.5 hours in the gym, a complicated plan, a special diet, supplements and so on.
And because that isn’t doable right now, they do nothing at all.
The mistake: this black-and-white thinking. All or nothing. Full throttle or sofa.
But that won’t get you anywhere, at least not in the long run.
What you need is a solution that fits your life.
And that can mean: 2–3 times a week, 20 minutes of training, movement in everyday life, small adjustments that make a big difference over time.
Training starts in your head, not necessarily in the gym
Good to know: your body doesn’t care whether you train in a fancy gym or in your living room. It responds to stimuli, not to locations, machines or dumbbells.
You don’t have to turn everything upside down. You just have to start.
A few examples of how it can work:
• 15-minute home workout in the morning
• a walk in your lunch break instead of scrolling Instagram
• stairs instead of the lift
• 5 minutes of mobility before bed
Sounds banal? Maybe. But it’s exactly these basics that make the difference in the end.
It never gets “quieter”, so start anyway
If you’re waiting for your life to get more relaxed at some point so you can “finally get going”: forget it.
There will always be something. So: plan your training like an appointment with yourself. You wouldn’t just skip a client call or a meeting, would you?
Make it just as important. Full stop.
What really counts: keep going. Don’t be perfect.
You don’t need 100 %. You need a foundation to build on.
Real progress doesn’t come from motivation, it comes from routines. And routines form when you do things that are doable.
Start small, but start. And above all: make it your thing. Not something you saw on Instagram.
Bottom line: if you say you have no time, right now is the moment to change something.
Your body isn’t a bonus. It’s your foundation. Nothing works without it: at work, in everyday life, in your energy.
And that’s exactly why it’s worth making yourself a priority. Not “someday”. Now.
If you’re tired of constantly putting yourself off and want to finally get started but don’t know how: get in touch. I’ll show you how to really move something with minimal time. At your pace, made for your life.
